Ebony was a quiet, gentle mare that produced foals that carried her same easy temperament. Ebony's foals were very popular and were always sold before they were weaned. The riding instructor at Bear Moon purchased Ebony's last foal because she wanted a horse that  her non-horsy friends and her grandson could ride. Ebony was used for trail riding, beginner riding lessons and 4-H. Kelly gave Ebony to his niece, Jessica Cremeans, for her 16th birthday. Ebony stayed at the farm while Jessica finished veterinarian school.

Ebony is shown here with her owner Jessica Cremeans and her 2000 foal. Jessica showed Ebony in 4-H until she left for college.
