Full board is available at Bear Moon.  Stalls are 12 x 12.  Horses are generally turned out on pasture and brought in twice a day for feeding.  A small tack room that can be locked is provided for each boarder.  Also available is an outdoor riding arena, round pen, an 84’ x 100’ indoor riding arena with observation room.  There is also about 300 acres of wooded trails for riding.
 


Riding instructor Susie Duncan offers beginning and intermediate hunt seat and dressage.  She accepts children 8 years old and older and adults.  Susie received her training at the Royal Bangkok Riding and Polo Club and furthered her experience at Full Cry Farm in Virginia and the Potomac Training Center in Maryland.  Susie also worked at Hamburg Farm in Lexington Kentucky breaking thoroughbreds, the equine program at Morehead State University and the equine program director at Camp Cardinal Girl Scout Camp.

Susie owns three horses --- Rare Pete (Quarter), Petra (Thoroughbred), & Elijah (KY Mountain).
